Matt Masters
Matt Masters is a Calgary based alt-country singer/songwriter, a stage and screen performer, a music educator and an ambassador for Calgary. Performing since 1998. Matt has released 5 albums and successfully built an award winning international touring career as an independent artist.
Matt's unique resume includes over 1000 gigs across North America, Europe and the Middle East. He's sung from horseback to capacity crowds at the Calgary Stampede, written and performed a cowboy & Indian alt-country opera in a packed cathedral in Toronto and performed an original song from center ice ac a Calgary Flames game.


A long-time member of Barney Bentall's Grand Cariboo Opry with a background in Canadian history and a well-worn passport.
Matt knows and shares songs and stories from all across the land. Matt's 60 shows-a-year calendar keeps him mostly in western Canada, but a few highlights of his 2014 season include a winter house concert in Paris, France and an upcoming three-day gig at a roadside honky-tonk in Bryce Canyon, Utah.
Matt's next album will be a collection of songs he wrote and recorded with a group of grade school students from Ecole King George School. Six bi-lingual songs about the school's centennial are featured along with three more Matt Masters originals.
